The Network Collective (TNC) is hiring a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Assurance team.
We’re looking for an experienced, analytically minded person with strong Excel and Power BI skills who enjoys getting into the detail, spotting trends and variances, and finding smarter and more efficient ways of working. You’ll work across the live network services of TNC’s customers – including WAN, telephony and mobile – carrying out commercial analysis, validating billing and producing clear, accurate reporting. You’ll also work directly with customers and suppliers to investigate queries and resolve issues.
What you’ll be doing
- Completing accurate and timely bill validation for technology services
- Building and refreshing monthly bill trend reporting using Excel and Power BI
- Investigating variances and providing clear supporting commentary
- Managing customer and supplier queries through to resolution
- Maintaining accurate inventory and query data
- Tracking performance against team KPIs
- Sharing knowledge, training and best practice across the wider team
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate the way we deliver our analytical services
- Supporting the development of our FinOps processes

What we’re looking for
You’ll have:
- Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel and Power BI experience
- A continuous-improvement mindset and an interest in making processes more efficient
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative, team-focused approach

Previous experience of network or technology-related bill validation would be particularly valuable. Knowledge of FinOps methodologies and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP would also be an advantage.
The role
📍 Manchester – Spinningfields
🏢 Hybrid working – 2–3 days per week in the office
