About the Role
I am working with a major UK Retailer in their search to hire a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused contract professional to take ownership of customer contract management across a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle, drafting and negotiating complex, high-value customer agreements while ensuring strong governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end contract management process across the wholesale business.
- Draft, review and negotiate multi-million-pound B2B customer contracts.
- Lead contract negotiations with corporate customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with legal, governance, risk and commercial frameworks.
- Identify, assess and mitigate contractual risks.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on contract-related matters.
- Support investigations and resolution of contract disputes, compliance breaches and incidents.
- Maintain accurate contract records and document management systems.
- Produce contract performance and status reporting for senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in contract templates, processes and governance standards.

About You
You'll be an experienced contract management professional with strong commercial acumen, outstanding stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to negotiate complex agreements.
We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive B2B contract management experience
- Strong understanding of contract law and contract lifecycle management
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks
- Exceptional attention to detail and contract governance discipline
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High levels of integrity, resilience and professional judgement

The Package
- Competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience
- Annual bonus of up to 10%, based on individual and company performance
- 28 days' annual leave, increasing to 32 days with length of service, plus bank holidays
