Role Overview

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Commercial Executive to join our Commercial team.

This is a highly visible role offering exposure to senior leadership, major client relationships, commercial negotiations, contract management, and new business pitches across the Group.

Working closely with the Group Commercial Director, you will take day-to-day ownership of a broad portfolio of commercial and contractual activity, helping to shape commercial outcomes, protect business interests and support sustainable growth across the Group.

Alongside assisting the Group Commercial Director in the management of all commercial and contractual work, you will play an important role in developing and supervising the Commercial Executive, helping to shape the future capability and growth of the Commercial team.

This role would suit someone with experience in commercial management, contract review and negotiation, procurement, business operations, or a similar commercially focused environment who is looking to accelerate their career while gaining exposure to all aspects of a modern media and marketing services business.

About the Team

The Commercial Department forms a key part of the Business Partner team within What's Possible Group. We oversee commercial and contractual arrangements involving clients, partners, and third parties, supporting businesses across the Group including The Specialist Works, Connections, Ireland, and our Make Possible businesses.

Our role is to ensure commercial agreements are robust, commercially sustainable, operationally deliverable, and aligned to the wider strategic objectives of the business.

Responsibilities

Commercial and Contractual Management

  • Work with the Group Commercial Director in the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of a wide range of commercial documentation, including NDAs, DPAs, client agreements, variations, statements of work, and partner contracts.
  • Review contractual terms, identify risks and opportunities, and provide practical commercial recommendations.
  • Manage contract execution processes through DocuSign and maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
  • Produce clear commercial summaries and contract briefings for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor contract renewals, notice periods, key obligations, and commercial commitments.
  • Ensure all elements of client commercial arrangements are effectively communicated and understood across the business.

Commercial Support and Negotiation

  • Take ownership of smaller client commercial projects and negotiations independently.
  • Support larger and more complex commercial negotiations alongside the Group Commercial Director.
  • Assist in developing innovative, commercially sustainable pricing and remuneration models.
  • Support client, procurement, and legal discussions throughout negotiation processes.
  • Work closely with Finance regarding payment terms, credit considerations, and commercial reconciliations.
  • Identify, manage, and appropriately escalate legal and commercial risks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
