Senior Commercial Finance Analyst / Commercial Finance Manager

Central London | Hybrid Working | £60,000 + 20% Bonus

Senior Commercial Finance Analyst / Commercial Finance Manager required for a leading global retail and hospitality business based in Central London.

This is a highly commercial role offering significant exposure across the business and would suit a qualified accountant with previous experience within a consumer-facing sector such as retail, hospitality, leisure, FMCG or a similar environment.

Working closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders, you’ll provide insight and analysis to help drive business performance and support key strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
  • Commercial business partnering with operational teams
  • Sales, margin and profitability analysis
  • Product and category performance analysis
  • Marketing spend and ROI analysis
  • Labour and workforce cost analysis
  • Overhead analysis and cost control
  • Identifying trends, risks and commercial opportunities
  • Producing insightful management information and recommendations
  • Supporting senior stakeholders with ad hoc commercial analysis and decision-making

Ideal Candidate

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Experienced within a consumer-facing business
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and business partnering skills
  • Highly advanced in MS Excel
  • Comfortable working with large and complex datasets
  • An excellent communicator capable of influencing non-finance stakeholders
  • Ideally experienced with Power BI or similar visualisation/reporting tools
