Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to the Commercial Teams.
  • Support the Commercial Finance Manager by providing decision support on customer strategy, pricing, promotions and investment decisions.
  • Translate financial insights into actionable commercial recommendations.
  • Challenge assumptions and drive accountability for performance outcomes.

Commercial Performance Management

  • Monitor, analyse and report customer, channel and market performance.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and investment returns.
  • Develop customer profitability and margin improvement strategies.
  • Provide key market understanding to be able to influence decision making to ensure long or short-term commercial success

Budgeting, Forecasting & Long-Term Planning

  • Financial planning activities for assigned markets and channel across Continental Europe & Nordics
  • Partner with commercial teams to develop budgets, forecasts, risks and opportunities assessments, and long-range plans.
  • Ensure robust assumptions and alignment across Finance, Sales and Supply functions.
  • Deliver accurate and timely forecasting of revenue, margin and commercial spend.
  • Monitor pricing compliance and governance.

Reporting & Performance Insights

  • Deliver meaningful business performance insights.
  • Support the RTR & Finance Control Team with commentary on commercial performance where required.
  • Analyse key drivers of revenue, margin, mix and investment performance
  • Maintain high-quality financial models and analytical tools.
  • Drive greater transparency and understanding of commercial performance
  • Influences senior commercial leaders across multiple European markets.
  • Provides recommendations that directly impact pricing, customer investments and strategic growth decisions.
  • Balances regional, market and global priorities when supporting decision-making.
  • Communicates complex financial and commercial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Builds alignment across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Revenue Growth Management and Finance functions.
  • Leads discussions and negotiations involving significant commercial and financial outcomes.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business. CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • 7+ years' experience in commercial finance, business partnering or financial planning and analysis
  • Experience supporting sales, marketing or commercial functions within a complex multinational organisation
  • Experience partnering with senior commercial stakeholders
  • FMCG, consumer goods, beverage or retail experience preferred. Strong financial modelling, forecasting and business case development experience. Experience with Finance transformation
