My client is a highly respected, market-leading UK business with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional products and service to customers nationwide.
Following a period of significant investment and transformation, the business is entering an exciting new chapter and is looking to strengthen its commercial finance team with the appointment of a Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner.
This is far more than a budgeting and reporting role.
You'll become the trusted finance partner to the Operations and Supply Chain leadership teams, providing the commercial insight, challenge and strategic support that helps drive better decision-making across logistics, warehousing and the wider operational function.
If you're looking for a role where you'll influence decisions rather than simply report the numbers, this is an opportunity to make a genuine commercial impact.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, you'll work closely with senior operational stakeholders to improve performance, identify opportunities and support the continued evolution of the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
