We are recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner (Regional) to join a leading operational multi-site business. This is a high-profile role where you will partner closely with senior operational stakeholders, providing financial insight, challenge, and support to drive business performance and profitability across multiple sites. You will work directly with the Area Director and wider operational leadership team, helping to influence key strategic and commercial decisions. Travel across the South of England will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with operational management, acting as a trusted commercial finance partner.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis, KPIs, and management information to support decision-making and drive performance improvements.
  • Review monthly management accounts, providing detailed variance analysis and clear commentary on financial results.
  • Present monthly financial performance to senior finance and operational stakeholders.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Manage CAPEX reporting and forecasting, ensuring expenditure remains aligned to budget.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and business processes.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a strong financial control environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three Analysts.
  • Increase financial awareness across operational teams, helping drive a stronger commercial culture.
  • Support year-end audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Proven experience within Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or Management Accounting.
  • Strong ability to influence and challenge non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with operational teams within logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or similarly operational multisite environments.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate a finance team.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
  • Experience using Power BI and financial reporting systems.
  • Commercially astute, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
