Senior Commercial Finance Manager – Ecommerce & Marketing
£90,000 - £100,000 Wembley
Are you a Qualified Accountant with strong Ecommerce, Digital or Marketing finance experience, looking to own the numbers behind a household-name retailer's next phase of growth? Aila Recruitment is working exclusively with a globally recognised fashion retailer to appoint a Senior Commercial Finance Manager.

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you'll be the finance lead for the Ecommerce channel, international Wholesale partnerships and the central Marketing function. This is a genuine business partnering role with real ownership.
The role requires a strong understanding of digital retail dynamics and the ability to work cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Marketing and Senior leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes for Ecommerce, Wholesale and central Marketing
- Analyse digital trading performance, highlighting the key drivers of variance to budget and forecast across all online and B2B channels
- Monitor digital and marketing KPIs, identify trends and challenge stakeholders on performance marketing spend and ROI across both brand and performance investment
- Partner with commercial teams to evaluate new initiatives, product launches and promotional activity, including cost-benefit analysis and post-implementation review
- Support pricing and discounting strategy through financial modelling and margin analysis
- Deliver insightful reporting focused on the narrative behind the numbers with a clear drive to move things forward
- Build strong relationships across Ecommerce, Marketing, Wholesale and Tech to influence decisions and drive financial outcomes.
- Lead and mentor the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and professional growth.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified with a minimum of 5 years PQE
- Several years' experience in an Ecommerce, Digital or Marketing Finance role, partnering cross-functional digital and marketing stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and a track record of building accurate financial models from scratch
- Able to produce concise, visually clear presentations that land with the reader without further explanation
- Commercially curious and able to draw conclusions and propose recommendations
- A balanced approach to challenging stakeholders at every level, always grounded in accurate analysis.
- Proven track record of driving business results through financial insight and strategic planning.
