Senior Commercial Finance Manager
Location: North East England
Salary: Circa £70,000

We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed business in the North East of England to appoint a Senior Commercial Finance Manager into a key position within the finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional looking to take the next step in their career and gain significant commercial exposure within a PE-backed environment. As the number three in finance, you will work closely with the CFO and CEO on a weekly basis, providing analysis, insight, and challenge to support key commercial and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing commercial analysis and insight to support business decision-making
- Working closely with the CFO and CEO on performance, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Analyzing business performance and identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
- Developing and improving financial reporting and commercial KPIs
- Working closely with operational and commercial teams to drive performance
- Supporting the wider finance function and contributing to ongoing process improvements
- Presenting financial analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders

We are looking for someone with strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and a great attitude, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond traditional reporting and gain genuine exposure to the commercial and strategic side of finance, working closely with an experienced CFO and CEO in a PE-backed business.
