We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and respected HVAC and building services specialist, for a Senior Commercial Gas Engineer. Responsibilities
As a Senior Commercial Gas Engineer, you will:
- Repair, maintain, and service commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems.
- Conduct fault:finding and diagnostics to ensure the efficient operation of commercial gas systems.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high:quality services to council properties and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Participate in overtime opportunities as required to meet project deadlines and client needs.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Valid commercial gas tickets (essential).
- Ideally, an NVQ qualification or a strong engineering background.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems.
- A proactive and mission:driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering excellence.
- A full UK driving license.
Day-to-Day
Your Typical Day Will Involve
- Traveling to various sites across Hertfordshire and North East London to carry out maintenance and repair tasks.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with commercial gas systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Keeping detailed records of work completed and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Engaging with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
