Referment is working with a Scottish commercial law firm based in Glasgow. The firm advises corporate and institutional clients across a wide range of sectors, on both transactional and contentious matters, and is looking for a senior Scots-qualified litigator to join its dispute resolution practice.
You'll take a senior position in a close-knit litigation team, handling commercial disputes with particular weight in property litigation, insolvency and company law. Alongside your own caseload, the role carries real responsibility for business development and management — the firm wants someone ambitious who can help grow the practice, not simply service it.

The Role
- Running and supporting commercial dispute matters, with a focus on property litigation, insolvency and company law.
- Delivering technically excellent work and clear, commercial advice to clients with urgent objectives.
- Contributing to business development and building relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
- Taking on management responsibilities appropriate to a senior member of the litigation team.
What We're Looking For
- A solicitor qualified in Scots law with five or more years' experience in commercial disputes.
- A strong track record of technical excellence, particularly across property litigation, insolvency and company law.
- Demonstrable ability in business development and management.
- Clear communication and the judgement to resolve commercial points without unnecessary complexity.

Desirable
- Experience advising corporate and institutional clients.
- Exposure to a broad range of commercial sectors.
