Flexible Working | Excellent Quality Work | Established Commercial Practice

This is a particularly attractive opportunity for a senior litigator who wants high-quality, interesting commercial disputes combined with the flexibility and quality of life offered by a strong regional practice.
The firm has developed an excellent commercial offering and, importantly, has a strong flow of quality work generated through its wider commercial department. You’ll be joining a supportive and well-established team where commercial litigation is an important part of the overall practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Shareholder and partnership disputes, including disagreements between business owners and issues surrounding the management or ownership of companies
- Contractual disputes, including breach of contract, interpretation of commercial agreements, and claims arising from failed business relationships
- Commercial property disputes, including landlord and tenant matters, lease disputes, and other property-related commercial claims

- General business and commercial disputes, providing strategic advice from the early stages of a dispute through to negotiated settlement or litigation

The Opportunity
The firm is looking for someone capable of taking ownership of their caseload and providing commercially focused, pragmatic advice to clients. There is also scope to play an important role within the department and contribute to its continued development.
