Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor - Liverpool - Competitive Salary + Benefits

A well-established and growing law firm is looking for a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its large and successful Liverpool team. With a strong pipeline of work, an impressive client base, and continued investment in the practice, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator looking for quality work, responsibility, and genuine progression.

The Commercial Litigation team is close-knit, sociable, and highly regarded for its approach to development and mentoring. As a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor in Liverpool, you will play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the practice while helping to supervise and develop more junior lawyers.

The Role

  • Joining a large and growing Commercial Litigation practice with a strong pipeline of work
  • Handling high-quality commercial disputes for an established and significant client base
  • Managing your own caseload while supporting Partners & senior lawyers on complex matters
  • Taking a genuine role in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior lawyers and trainees
  • Providing practical and commercially focused dispute resolution advice to clients
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to the team’s high service standards
  • Supporting business development & the continued growth of the Commercial Litigation practice
  • Working within a sociable, hardworking, and close-knit team with strong progression opportunities

The Candidate

  • 6PQE+ qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor
  • Strong experience handling a broad range of commercial litigation & dispute resolution matters
  • Previous supervisory or mentoring experience with the confidence to support junior lawyers
  • Commercially minded with strong technical ability and sound judgement
  • Confident managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy
  • Client-focused with strong communication and relationship management skills
  • A collaborative approach and genuine interest in contributing to the development of the wider team
  • Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing litigation practice

The Benefits and How to Apply

  • Competitive salary from the high £50,000s into the £60,000s, depending on experience and seniority
  • Hybrid working with a typical split of three days in the office and two days from home
  • Liverpool-based role, with potential flexibility for Chester-based candidates able to attend Liverpool around one day per week
