Seeking a Commercial Manager to take point on a recently awarded Data Centre project in Milan, with the view to promote this individual to Commercial Director of all European operations upon completion of the scheme in Milan.

The initial role is Commercial Lead of an €11m package in Milan, delivering heavy civils packages on the first of four Data Centre’s on the site. Expected to be €40m in 2 years.

Consequently, the successful candidate will be appointed as the Commercial Director of all European operations, across Italy, Portugal as well as a 3rd region which will be confirmed in 2027.

Role:

  • Commercial Lead role on a two year €40m scheme in Italy.
  • Strategically manage the commercial risks in the project.
  • Ensure all standard contract communications are completed on time.
  • Build excellent relationship with client. Aim – easy interim & final account / secure further work.
  • Work with Operations team to maximise margin. Ops and Commercial work together internally.
  • Hire excellent quality replacements and QS’s in other countries to enable growth.
