The Opportunity

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded individual ready to take the next step in their career. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities and delivering growth within major retail accounts.

You'll have ownership of key customer relationships, managing commercial performance while identifying new opportunities to increase sales, profitability and market presence. This role suits someone with a strong commercial mindset, plenty of drive and the confidence to influence both customers and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing relationships with major retail customers
  • Delivering sales, revenue and margin targets
  • Building and executing customer business plans aligned with wider company objectives
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and contracts
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, increased distribution and improved profitability
  • Managing forecasts and working closely with supply chain and operational teams to ensure delivery
  • Reviewing performance against targets and proactively creating plans to address gaps
  • Leading customer projects from concept through to implementation
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and customer developments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding customer service and commercial success

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in account management, commercial management or sales within a manufacturing, FMCG or related environment
  • Exposure to working with major retailers
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
  • Highly driven, ambitious and eager to progress
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive approach with a passion for delivering results
