We Are Looking For Senior Commercial Managers
We are looking for Senior Commercial Managers to join our business. You will play a key role in leading the delivery of major schemes. From beginning to end, you'll drive successful outcomes for our customers, communities and people.
Given the scale and diversity of our project portfolio, we're looking for leaders who are flexible and open to working across different locations throughout the UK, bringing their expertise where it can make the greatest impact.
We are currently looking for Senior Commercial Managers who will lead and oversee the commercial function of high-value projects up to and exceeding £300 million. As a key member of a Project Leadership Team, you will be responsible for managing project finances, contractual obligations, and commercial performance, ensuring alignment with internal policies and customer/stakeholder expectations.

As The Senior Commercial Manager, You Will
- Knowledge of Skanska’s values, structure, and philosophy (e.g., One Skanska - working jointly with other Operating Units i.e. Building Services, Cementation and Enabling Functions).
- Involvement in PQQs and bid strategies.
- Identifies recruitment needs and works with recruitment to advertise, interview and make offers to appropriate senior members of staff.
- Developing profit plans, spend profiles, and forecasting outcomes.
- Understanding of macro and micro market conditions.
- Overseeing design changes and programme alignment.
We Are Looking For
- Experience working on large projects up to £300m+ as the Commercial Lead.
- Experience in JCT/D&B/NEC Forms of Contract.
- MRICS qualified highly desirable/degree educated in a relevant subject.
- Significant customer facing experience.
- Experience of large and complex claims.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
