Principal Contractor and Leading Provider of Electrical Solutions for Rail Infrastructure

A Principal Contractor and the leading provider of electrical solutions for rail infrastructure, specialising in Overhead Catenary System (OCS) and High Voltage Traction and Non-Traction Power Supply (HV) is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Manager and a Senior Commercial Manager to join their team in Glasgow, managing various upgrade and enhancement projects across Scotland.

Seeking Candidates with

  • Strong experience in a commercial management or quantity surveying role within rail infrastructure, energy, utilities, power, civil engineering or major projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and financial reporting within project, programme, framework or portfolio environments.
  • Experience managing and administering construction, infrastructure or engineering contracts, with experience of NEC or similar standard forms being advantageous.
  • A broad experience of all aspects of commercial management and contract administration on a diverse range of construction contracts from inception to completion.
  • A strong and detailed quantity surveying knowledge base throughout all pre and post construction phases.
  • A BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Valid driving licence and vehicle and ability to travel as required.
