Interim Senior Commercial Manager
Bristol (Hybrid)
6-Month Contract

We're supporting a leading defence organisation in the search for an experienced Interim Senior Commercial Manager to join their commercial team on a 6-month initial contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the management of complex commercial agreements, working across both pre- and post-contract activities while engaging with senior stakeholders and customers within the Ministry of Defence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial activities across the full contract lifecycle, from pre-contract negotiations through to post-award contract management.
- Draft, review and negotiate complex terms and conditions and commercial agreements.
- Provide commercial guidance to programme and project teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and MOD customers.
- Identify and manage commercial risks while ensuring contractual compliance.
- Support the successful delivery of complex defence programmes.

About You
- Proven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager or similar commercial leadership role.
- Extensive experience managing complex contracts within the defence sector.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
- Confident working directly with MOD customers and senior stakeholders.
- Previous experience working for a defence prime contractor is highly desirable.
- Experience within IT or technology programmes would be advantageous.
- Legal qualifications (or equivalent commercial legal knowledge) are desirable.
- Active SC Security Clearance is essential.
