Purpose of the Role

Drive the long-term commercial success and strategic development of three premium UKI flagship retailers across Direct Retail (Concession) and Wholesale channels. Lead senior retailer partnerships, Joint Business Plans, forecasting, negotiations, and flagship growth opportunities.

Manage high-profile projects, including new concession boutique openings, launching exceptional product pieces in market, and lead UK Private Client collaborations. Enhance Dior’s brand image and grow market share in the UK luxury retail landscape.

Main Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy and Account Leadership

  • Own the commercial strategy and delivery for three premium UKI flagship retailers
  • Lead Joint Business Plans with retail partners, including site fees, store takeovers, pop-up activations and integrated digital support.
  • Act as the senior commercial point of contact for key accounts, leading negotiations and building long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Hold quarterly business reviews and (bi)-weekly trading calls with retailer contacts to drive performance and alignment.

Trade Performance

  • Deliver wholesale and direct retail sales targets across the account portfolio.
  • Lead forecasting for new launches and core business, ensuring accurate planning across sell-in and sell-out.
  • Conduct detailed sales and stock analysis, translating performance insights into actions that drive growth.
  • Monitor orders, stock position and wholesale landing with the team to support strong in-store execution and target delivery.

Retail Development and Transformation

  • Lead direct retail transformation projects across flagship accounts, including boutique openings and transitions from wholesale to direct-to-consumer models.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of future retail development plans (CAPEX Projects)

Projects and High-Value Client Initiatives

  • Lead strategic projects including the successful launches of Exceptional Pieces and driving UK Personal Shopping / Private Client collaborations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for UK and Central Europe teams on Exceptional Pieces and Private Client development.
  • Support high-profile launches and events to accelerate trade and reinforce Dior’s market leadership.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across commercial, retail, marketing, merchandising, digital, supply chain and central teams to support flagship account performance.
  • Maintain close day-to-day communication with Business Managers across Direct Retail points of sale.
  • Prepare and deliver high standard presentations, central visit decks and performance updates for senior management, and central teams.

Team Management

  • Lead and develop one executive and two interns, setting priorities and supporting capability development.
  • Partner with wider team leadership to ensure strong execution across the account base.

Profile

Key Skills

  • Business planning: Constructs 3-year strategy and translates it into concrete annual plans with SMART targets and detailed action plans; short- and long term.
  • P&L management: Fully understands and interprets a P&L statement, identifying risks and opportunities; is focused on driving bottom-line growth.
  • Negotiation: Uses both hard and soft negotiation techniques to secure win-win results; is able to adapt approach quickly in order to secure better results; aims for win-win solutions in all negotiations.
  • Influencing & stakeholder management: Adapts personal style to influence others better; uses a broad range of techniques to build consensus and secure support; actively manages network to influence all stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills: Compiles and interprets financial, market and category information, translating insights into action plans; is focused on delivering insight and action from the analysis.
  • Strong commercial and key account management experience within luxury, premium beauty, retail, or consumer goods.
  • Proven ability to lead senior retailer relationships and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong analytical capability across forecasting, trading analysis, and performance management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and translating strategy into execution.
  • Confident people manager with the ability to lead and develop junior team members.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

  • 5+ years’ experience in account management in luxury goods, cosmetics, or retail.
  • Graduate-level education preferred but not essential.
  • Good understanding of and appreciation for the luxury goods industry.
  • Personal affinity with the Dior brand and products.
  • Competent in the usage of MS Office applications and analytics tools (such as PowerBi)
  • International / cross-functional experience an asset but not essential.
  • French language skills an asset but not essential.
