Real Estate Solicitor / Associate (4+ PQE) - Manchester - Leading National Law Firm
An excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join a highly regarded national law firm's Northern Real Estate Transactions team in Manchester.
This role is ideal for an ambitious real estate lawyer seeking exposure to a broad range of high-quality commercial property work, with a particular focus on development-led transactions, investment acquisitions and disposals, property finance, and strategic land matters. Working as part of one of the UK's largest real estate teams, you will act for developers, investors, landowners, funders, and occupiers on complex, high-value transactions across the full property lifecycle.
The team has a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused and pragmatic advice, combining national resources with deep regional market expertise. The Role:
- Advising on a varied portfolio of real estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, investment work, and property finance matters
- Acting for developers, investors, landowners, funders, and occupiers on complex commercial property transactions
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion whilst maintaining high standards of technical excellence and client service
- Providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice tailored to clients' wider business objectives
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a key point of contact on transactions
- Working closely with colleagues across planning, construction, banking, corporate, and tax teams on multi-disciplinary matters
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the team
- Mentoring and supervising junior team members where appropriate

The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in commercial real estate
- Strong technical experience across transactional real estate matters
- Particular experience in development work, either commercial or residential, would be advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- Confident dealing directly with clients and understanding their wider commercial objectives
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- An interest in business development and building long-term client and referrer relationships
- A collaborative team player looking to progress within a leading real estate practice
