Salary commencing from $1,912.07 per week + 12% Superannuation
35-hour week

About The Opportunity
Join our team and play a key role in connecting people with the information and decisions that matter to them, with a focus on the delivery of roads and infrastructure projects across the Wollondilly Shire. You will plan and deliver engaging communications and community engagement activities while working with diverse stakeholders to build understanding, encourage participation and ensure community voices are heard.
To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- Degree qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Sciences, or equivalent and/or extensive relevant work experience.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced communications role.
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement facilitation, management, monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communications and engagement strategies and delivering innovative solutions to complex and wide-ranging issues and/or opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience using emerging technologies to deliver best practice communications and community engagement e.g. websites, social media, AI etc.
