About Us

At Dyson, we solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re driven by progress and thrive on the challenge of relentless improvement.

Our Communications team creates and manages our narrative. Working closely with senior stakeholders, they deploy our stories strategically through press, online media and internal comms to build our reputation. Our high-profile reputation helps grow our business by indirectly selling our technology and positions Dyson as a great place to work.

About The Role

The Senior Communications Manager for Environmental Care will be responsible for telling the global story of Dyson’s iconic and industry leading air purification, cooling and heating products. These products form the Environmental Care range that has been pivotal to the success of Dyson, making us the company we are today.

The category began back in 2015 when we realized we could apply our advanced knowledge of airflow, developed through our disruptive innovation in the vacuum industry, to provide cleaner, cooler air to people around their home. We pioneered Air Multiplier Technology with our bladeless fans, and more recently we have created a unique new HushJet design that moves air powerfully with minimal noise.

This is a key role that requires proactive collaboration, insight-sharing and influence across a diverse group of markets around the world. The successful candidate will be a well connected, dynamic, organised and passionate global Communications leader responsible for developing integrated Communications plans that align with the company's goals and position Dyson as the leader in engineering and innovation technology.

In addition to having a strategic focus, the role requires hands-on execution, leveraging a broad network of contacts across the business to deliver quality outputs while protecting and enhancing Dyson's reputation. With experience of cross-functional leadership skills the candidate will inspire and motivate talented teams to achieve unrivalled performance and be the key point of contact for our global markets, as well as the Environmental Care Business Unit (BU) leaders.

Overall Skills

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to design the launch, sustain and drumbeat campaigns that will support our product Communications objectives in the Environmental Care category.
  • Create the campaigns, messaging and direction for our global markets, working closely with our in-house Creative Agency team (based in London).
  • Possess a deep knowledge of the global technology and home appliance media, social media and influencer space, including local trends that can be leveraged to the benefit of our work.
  • Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders across our business.
  • Have an innate ability to find, articulate and propagate inspiring stories (and inspire others to tell their stories) in a way that resonates for a diverse range of audiences around the world.
  • Lead Communications activities end-to-end, from strategic planning to execution of campaigns with a focus on driving earned press and influencer coverage to 1) support commercial priorities and 2) drive storytelling/thought leadership narratives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
