Senior Communications Manager – Consumer PR

📍 London | Hybrid / Flexible (ability to travel to London
💰 Up to £43.26 per hour PAYE
📅 12-month contract – maternity cover

We're looking for an experienced Senior Communications Manager to join a leading global consumer technology brand, taking ownership of UK consumer communications and earned media.

This is a high-profile role focused on creating bold, culturally relevant consumer campaigns that generate conversation, earned coverage, and brand love.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and deliver creative UK consumer PR campaigns
  • Own relationships across consumer, travel, lifestyle, and entertainment media
  • Create proactive earned-media stories, including data/trend-led campaigns and press events
  • Develop creative partnerships and culturally relevant brand moments
  • Work closely with influencer, marketing, partnerships, legal, and corporate communications teams
  • Manage PR agency partners and campaign budgets
  • Track campaign performance and share insights across EMEA

What we're looking for:

  • 8–10+ years' experience in consumer PR / communications
  • Strong track record of creative campaigns that have generated significant earned media
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK consumer media landscape and established journalist relationships
  • Strong understanding of pop culture, consumer trends, and culturally relevant storytelling
  • Experience across consumer technology, lifestyle, travel, hospitality, or entertainment highly desirable
  • Strong agency management and cross-functional stakeholder experience
  • Experience working in-house within a major consumer brand would be particularly advantageous
  • Agency + in-house experience would be ideal
