About CDP

CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system. As the founder of environmental reporting, we believe in transparency and the power of data to drive change.

Partnering with leaders in enterprise, capital, policy, and science, we surface the information needed to enable Earth-positive decisions. We helped more than 24,800 companies and almost 1,000 cities, states, and regions disclose their environmental impacts in 2024. Financial institutions with more than a quarter of the world’s institutional assets use CDP data to help inform investment and lending decisions.

Our team is truly global, united by our shared desire to build a world where people, planet, and profit are balanced. Visit cdp.net or follow us @CDP to find out more.

About the Team

The Marketing & Communications function is to protect and enhance CDP's brand, connecting people to the purpose through storytelling, to drive sustainable growth.

The Communications team owns the organizational communications strategy, providing messaging across the wider business, which is used in media engagement and storytelling for campaign delivery (insights, case studies) and ‘always on’ comms for key stakeholders, and equipping media spokespeople with content and briefing materials.

About this role

As Senior Communications Officer for Storytelling and Data Insights, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering CDP’s flagship insights work through our Marketing and Communications (M&C) campaigns. Supporting the production of compelling narratives and proof points for CDP’s value proposition, your role will be key to ensuring our brand lands with impact across key CDP stakeholders from businesses and financial institutions to governments.

You will be a Marketing and Communications professional with demonstrable success in supporting the delivery of powerful insights work and drafting persuasive key messaging and positioning that lands with diverse audiences on a range of complex and technical topics.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
