About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the community and continuity of carer midwifery teams at Birmingham Women's Hospital, covering South Birmingham. We are looking for knowledgeable and passionate professionals, to support women and families throughout their pregnancy and postnatal journey, who meet the criteria for additional and complex needs. Please read the job description and person specification before applying for this post.

Responsibilities
The post holder will lead the support provided for mothers, babies & families and assist in the co-ordination of care for families with complex needs and safeguarding procedures.

Support may include:
- Provision of practical help
- Arranging accommodation

More complex support may be required such as:
- Caring for parents with additional and complex needs
- Assisting and making complex safeguarding referrals
The post holder will lead the Right Help, Right Times framework, Early Help Programme and support families in times of challenge and stress and liaise with Health and Social Service providers.
