I am partnering with a leading global insurance organisation to appoint a Senior Company Secretarial Manager on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary, UK & Europe, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality governance and company secretarial services across a portfolio of legal entities operating throughout the UK, Europe and MENA regions. Working closely with Board members, senior executives and key stakeholders, you will help ensure robust governance practices and support effective decision-making across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced company secretarial professional looking to broaden their exposure within a complex, international and highly regulated environment.

What's the Opportunity?

As Senior Company Secretarial Manager, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of Board and Committee meetings, providing end-to-end secretariat support.
  • Coordinate agendas, papers, meeting logistics and board packs.
  • Attend meetings and produce clear, concise and actionable minutes.
  • Support governance activities across UK, European and international legal entities.
  • Provide guidance on governance matters and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Assist with statutory compliance requirements and regulatory filings.
  • Support KYC and due diligence requests.
  • Contribute to governance reporting, policies, procedures and best-practice frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including exploring the use of AI and technology to enhance governance processes.
  • Support corporate transactions and broader governance projects as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
