The Role
The Senior Compensation Analyst will support with the day-to-day activities and administration related to the Firm’s compensation programs for business service employees and fee earners.
In addition, this role will support the global compensation team with global compensation initiatives and projects.
Hours
Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with flexibility in accordance with the needs of the business.
Our current working from home policy allows for two days working from home, subject to business need. This policy is subject to change and does not form part of contractual terms.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Firm's participation in annual salary surveys, including the preparation, validation and submission of all required data elements, and coordinate with regional offices to ensure consistency and accuracy of submissions
- Lead the audit and reconciliation processes between Compensation, HRIS and Payroll transactions, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to ensure ongoing data integrity
- Lead the preparation and production of compensation letters and bonus letters for the business groups, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to the Firm's standards and templates
- Independently liaise with Global HRIS to coordinate the uploading of compensation and bonus letter data into PeopleSoft, verifying successful integration and resolving any discrepancies.
- Proficient in market data benchmarking and analysis for existing and new positions using a range of compensation surveys, providing recommendations on competitive positioning and pay adjustments where appropriate
- Support in the development of and maintaining templates for salary and bonus review, administrative procedures, workflows and governance standards for compensation practices and processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Support the global compensation team in preparing and auditing data sheets, along with report production across the internal systems as required
- Support liaising between the global compensation team and other departments across the Firm, proactively identifying and addressing gaps to ensure consistency, compliance and best practice in processes and procedures
- Contribute to compensation projects and initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives

Qualifications, Experience And Personal Attributes
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of compensation experience, preferably in a partnership, professional or financial services firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, required
- Advanced level of Excel including pivot tables, vlookups and formulas, required
- Proficiency working with survey databases, such as WTW, Lexology or Mercer.
