About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Business Partner to provide specialist advice and support across the wider UK financial services compliance framework. - Provide vital compliance input and risk assessments for new products, customer journeys, partnerships, and strategic business initiatives.
- Maintain a broad understanding of the UK financial services regulatory environment to advise on critical areas such as Consumer Duty, Conduct risk, and Financial crime.

- Prepare high-quality compliance reporting and foster strong, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Product, and Operations to promote a robust culture of regulatory compliance.
The Skills And Experience You Need
- Significant compliance experience within UK financial services, backed by strong specialist knowledge of electronic money, payment services, and payments regulation.
- A good working knowledge of the Electronic Money Regulations, Payment Services Regulations, and the FCA regulatory framework.
- Proven experience in providing pragmatic compliance advice to business stakeholders and undertaking thorough regulatory risk assessments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret ambiguous legislation and translate it into practical business requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and clearly explain complex regulatory concepts to non-specialists.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
