Compliance Business Partner

UK | Hybrid Working - £80,000 - £100,000

Want a seat at the table where pricing, underwriting, customer outcomes, and regulation meet? We're looking for a Compliance Business Partner to be a trusted adviser to our Pricing, and Underwriting teams. This is a highly visible, influential role where you'll help shape key business decisions, challenge thinking, and ensure we deliver fair value for customers while meeting FCA expectations.

You'll work directly with senior leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused compliance advice across pricing strategy, underwriting, product governance, and regulatory change. If you're someone who can balance customer, commercial, and regulatory considerations while influencing at the highest levels, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Partnering with Pricing, Underwriting, and Product leaders as a trusted compliance adviser
  • Providing expert guidance on Consumer Duty, fair value, GI pricing practices, ICOBS, and PROD requirements (PROD4)
  • Reviewing and challenging pricing, underwriting, and product proposals to identify customer and regulatory impacts
  • Supporting decision-making around differential pricing, segmentation, target markets, and value assessments
  • Influencing strategic programs, model changes, and governance decisions from concept through to implementation
  • Representing Compliance in senior forums and committees, providing insight, challenge, and escalation where needed
  • Identifying emerging regulatory risks and translating regulation into practical business actions
  • Helping build a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and customer-focused decision-making

What we're looking for

  • Senior Compliance or Regulatory experience within UK financial services
  • Strong knowledge of general insurance pricing (GIP), strategy, and underwriting
  • Deep understanding of FCA expectations, conduct risk, and customer outcomes
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with credibility and confidence
  • Experience navigating complex pricing, underwriting, and commercial decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory and technical concepts
