Senior Compliance Business Partner

We are working with a Consumer Credit business who are looking to add a Senior Compliance Business Partner to their team. The role will support the Head of Compliance and play a key part in enhancing the firm’s compliance framework. This opportunity would suit someone with strong regulatory knowledge within a consumer credit compliance environment. This role can be remote with some travel to Sheffield required.

Duties & Experience Required:

• Lead on compliance monitoring to ensure delivery of the annual compliance monitoring plan – designing, establishing, and implementing a monitoring framework proportionate to the business.
• Support and/or lead on AML/Financial crime related tasks, e.g., firm-wide risk assessment, establishing controls, PEP processes, SAR investigations.
• Draft, review and/or establish compliance and/or financial crime policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with FCA requirements.
• Support training and awareness initiatives to embed a strong culture of compliance.
• Collaborate with the wider business to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes.
• Proven compliance experience, within the consumer credit financial services sector.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations with a strong understanding of consumer protection requirements, CONC, Consumer Duty, and SMCR.
• Strong ability to meet deliverables and own responsibilities and tasks without significant oversight.
