Senior Compliance and Commercial Analyst, Client Services, People Consulting, Belfast

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

About the Client Services Team

Our Client Services team sits at the heart of service delivery, enabling EY to deliver complex, high-quality services for clients across the public sector. Bringing together specialists in programme delivery, commercial management, supplier management, compliance, governance, project management and operational support, the team is responsible for ensuring services are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to the highest standards of quality.

Working collaboratively across client-facing and internal functions, the team supports the full-service lifecycle, from mobilisation and delivery through to governance, reporting, continuous improvement and innovation. Together, we focus on creating exceptional client experiences, managing risk effectively and driving operational excellence across our Learning Framework contract.

Role Purpose

The Senior Commercial Analyst will support procurement and proposal activities, working closely with EY account Managers. They will report to the Compliance and Commercial Manager within the Client Services Team whilst also supporting the Supplier Management Lead to execute supplier and community management activities.

The Compliance and Commercial Team comprises three main functions:

  • Contracts and Risk – administration of the supplier qualification and onboarding process and the management of contractual compliance thereafter
  • Procurement and Proposals – running of the procurement process with the supplier community, from sharing requirements through to receipt and evaluation of proposals
  • Supplier and Community Management – establishing and managing the relationship with suppliers focusing on supplier performance

You will also have the opportunity to shape and continuously improve our approach to supplier and community management as well as how we procure, receive and evaluate proposals from suppliers in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administers and supports the contractual relationship with our Supply partners
  • Monitors supplier compliance and assurance requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting on compliance status, risks and actions.
  • Supports Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities, including supplier review forums, events and training sessions.
  • Supports with MI & Reporting and the administration for Contract Management and supplier relationship management.
  • Prepares and quality assures key internal and client-facing reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency of data. Supports execution of community engagement strategy, including communications, group meetings and events in conjunction with Managers in the team.
  • Manages shared team mailboxes, triaging and responding to supplier, stakeholder and internal queries, and coordinating follow-up actions.
  • Identifies and supports continuous improvement opportunities within supplier management, compliance and reporting processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality delivery with supporting evidence/examples in career to date.
  • A high level of organisation.
  • Ability to, and experience in, building excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including when to escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Ability to work independently, manage own time and prioritise workload.
  • A business-related higher-level degree OR demonstrable experience in an office-based environment or similar role.
  • Continuous improvement mind set.

Ideally you will also have experience of preparing/drafting internal stakeholder MI reporting to an excellent standard and high level of accuracy; And Supplier Management/Account Management/Procurement/Risk Management administrative experience

Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Project or programme management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2) are a desirable but not essential.
