About the Role

Join Oxford University Press as a Senior Compliance Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering and evolving our Global Compliance Programme across a truly international organisation. Working closely with the Group Compliance Officer, you will help ensure that key compliance risks, including bribery and corruption, fraud, the facilitation of tax evasion, and sanctions, are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated. This is an exciting opportunity to influence organisational culture, strengthen ethical decision-making, and support the Press’s commitment to operating with integrity across all areas of the business.

In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with senior stakeholders across divisions and group functions to embed compliance policies and processes, drive engagement with training and awareness initiatives, and support a strong culture of accountability. You will manage compliance professionals based in the UK and/or overseas. You will oversee risk assessments and due diligence activities relating to third parties and high-risk business activities, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and remain effective. You will also contribute to compliance reporting, monitoring and assurance activities, helping to provide clear insight into programme effectiveness and emerging risk areas.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
