About Paynetics

At Paynetics, we believe payments should be everywhere and effortless. As a European Embedded Finance provider, we enable businesses to offer modern payment experiences across issuing, acquiring, accounts, digital wallets, and card programmes. We work with businesses across Europe and the UK, from established financial institutions and global organizations to fast-growing FinTech's.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to primarily support our UK regulated business. This is a broad, hands-on second-line compliance role covering FCA regulatory compliance, partner and third-party oversight, outsourcing, regulatory change, regulatory reporting, new product governance, Consumer Duty, compliance monitoring, and financial crime support.

The role would particularly suit someone who has worked in a generalist compliance role within a payments or e-money firm operating through agents, distributors, or programme partners, or within a regulated payments business with a significant degree of outsourcing or reliance on third-party providers.

We are looking for someone who is practical and solutions-focused. Strong technical knowledge is important, but this is not a role for someone who simply reads regulation and restates it. We need someone who can understand what a regulatory requirement means in practice, translate it into workable controls, processes, and business requirements, and help ensure those requirements are embedded.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
