Help turn complex regulation into clear, workable decisions

Good compliance advice does more than explain a rule. It helps people understand what the requirement means, make a sound decision and embed the right outcome in day-to-day operations.

We are recruiting a Senior Compliance Manager - Advisory & Governance to join our Compliance team. You will act as a trusted second-line partner across MoneyPlus, providing practical regulatory advice and coordinating the governance, policy and regulatory-change activity that supports effective oversight.

This is a hands-on senior role with one direct report. It is focused on advisory support, governance enablement and operational embedding rather than routine monitoring or independent assurance. You will need the credibility to work closely with senior stakeholders, simplify complex FCA requirements and challenge constructively when the evidence or proposed approach is not strong enough.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing practical, proportionate regulatory advice to operational and support functions.
  • Helping stakeholders understand and embed FCA requirements, Consumer Duty and customer-outcome expectations.
  • Coordinating governance frameworks, committee activity, papers, actions and decision-useful MI.
  • Leading policy governance, including standards, ownership, review cycles and documentation.
  • Supporting SM&CR governance, including Conduct Rules, Fit & Proper coordination and regulatory training.
  • Coordinating horizon scanning, regulatory impact assessments and operational implementation of change.
  • Supporting governance and approval for financial promotions, customer communications and digital journeys.
  • Advising on customer understanding, communication clarity and vulnerable-customer considerations.
  • Setting priorities for and developing a Compliance Analyst.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our debt advice and solutions combine digital convenience with human care, supporting customers through some of the most challenging financial circumstances they may face.

This role offers broad exposure across the business, genuine influence over how regulatory expectations are understood and embedded, and the opportunity to strengthen governance while developing a growing Compliance team.
