Role Description
The Senior Compliance Officer contract role is a remote position responsible for overseeing compliance frameworks that support Innovation Pie’s clients digital initiatives and business operations in South East Africa. The Senior Compliance Officer will conduct risk assessments, monitor regulatory changes, and provide guidance to cross-functional teams on compliance-related matters.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, including experience building and overseeing compliance programs.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret complex regulations, assess risk, and develop practical, data-informed recommendations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain compliance requirements clearly, collaborate with diverse teams, and prepare concise reports for leadership.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance to evaluate the compliance impact of financial processes, contracts, and transactions.
- Relevant qualifications include experience in a senior compliance role, within technology, digital services, or consulting environments for South East African markets.
- Advanced knowledge of risk management, internal controls, and policy development is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CRCM, CCEP) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
