Background
Bayes AQS department has responsibility for supporting, advising, and regulating many aspects of the school’s educational offer and it does this via the University’s academic quality and standards framework.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Deputy Registrar to manage the Academic Standard process and procedures.
- Handle matters relating to assessment, cases of academic misconduct, appeals, and complaints.
- Act as secretary to any School Level panel, providing expert advice and being the point of expertise on matters related to Quality and Standard as you support senior colleagues.
Person Specification
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Proven experience of working in a higher education environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to accuracy and detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with enquiries effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage a busy workload, and be confident working with MS Office.
