Senior Compliance Policy Consultant
North Yorkshire - 3 days on site
£40,000 - £50,000
Currently partnering with a highly regarded financial services organisation to recruit a Senior Compliance Policy Consultant into their established Group Risk function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced compliance professional or a financial advice specialist looking to broaden their exposure within a second-line compliance environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in interpreting regulatory change, providing expert guidance, and helping drive positive customer outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert oversight, advice, and constructive challenge on regulatory compliance matters.
- Interpret and communicate regulatory developments, particularly within financial advice and FCA regulation.
- Support the implementation of regulatory change programmes and business initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex regulatory queries.
- Influence and support the development of effective conduct risk frameworks and controls.
- Build strong relationships across risk, compliance, and operational teams.

About You:
- Strong understanding of FCA regulation, including Consumer Duty and Conduct of Business rules.
- Background in Compliance, Risk, Financial Advice, or a related regulatory environment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide pragmatic, commercial guidance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing abilities.
- Professional compliance qualifications or financial advice qualifications would be advantageous.
