This role will involve national travel.
Your Purpose
We're looking for a Senior Compliance & Safety Operations Manager to take a leading role in protecting our guests, colleagues and contractors across our national hotel portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Maintenance Services, you’ll bring together safety, asset integrity and regulatory compliance, connecting senior-level direction with what happens on the ground across our estate.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how compliance and safety are delivered at scale. You’ll lead key areas including fire safety, statutory asset compliance, water hygiene, asbestos and maintenance health & safety, while building a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.

You’ll be someone who can confidently navigate complex regulatory environments, influence stakeholders at every level and turn standards and policies into effective operational practice. From working with regulators and senior leaders to engaging directly with field teams, contractors and project teams, you’ll have the authority and expertise to make sure safety remains at the heart of everything we do.
Your Strengths
We’re looking for an experienced operational leader with a strong background in multi-site facilities, engineering infrastructure or estate compliance. You’ll have a deep practical understanding of building fabric, M&E systems and UK statutory compliance, alongside the ability to use compliance data and CAFM or insurance systems to identify trends, manage risk and provide clear insights to senior leaders.
You’ll hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate, NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management qualification, and a recognised technical qualification in Facilities Management or an engineering-related trade.
