Our Mission

Our mission at Sciensus is simple: to give patients control of their health through knowledge, choice, convenience and connection.

We are seeking a Senior Compounding Unit Operator to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

As a senior operator, you will be instrumental in maintaining aseptic standards, ensuring uninterrupted production flow, and supporting both colleagues and supervisors to deliver medicines that patients rely on every single day.

This role is essential to keeping the compounding unit running safely, efficiently, and compliantly, while also driving continuous improvement and setting the standard for GMP and aseptic practice across the team.

Every action as a Compounding Unit Senior Operator truly matters as it impacts patient safety, product integrity, and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing, assembling, and aseptically manufacturing medicinal products in line with GMP and departmental procedures
  • Generating and checking batch manufacturing and packing records, formulations, and labels to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Leading by example on aseptic technique, carrying out in-person observation, coaching, and feedback to maintain the highest standards
  • Ensuring a constant, uninterrupted flow of product through the cleanroom environment
  • Supporting planning and organisation of prescriptions and operators alongside supervisors and senior operators
  • Deputising for Production Supervisors when required, helping to keep operations running smoothly
  • Managing stock availability, ordering materials, and resolving discrepancies efficiently
  • Completing documentation clearly, accurately, and in real time
  • Supporting SOP training, suggesting improvements to quality and productivity
  • Contributing to audits, Gemba walks, 5S activities, NCRs, and CAPAs
  • Monitoring environmental conditions and supporting validation activities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
