This is a permanent, 35-hour per week role based in Milton Keynes, with hybrid working. You will be expected to work full-time from the Milton Keynes office for the first 1-2 weeks to support your induction and training, before moving to the standard hybrid working arrangement.

The role
As Senior Conduct Counsel, you will:
- Advise Investigation Officers and Regulatory Case Managers on complaints and regulatory matters.
- Prepare, prosecute and present cases before ICAEW's Disciplinary and Regulatory Committees.
- Manage your own varied caseload from instruction through to conclusion.
- Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice across the Professional Standards Department.
- Ensure cases progress effectively and within required timescales.
About you
You will have:
- 5+ years' PQE or equivalent experience.
- Strong advocacy experience - essential.
- Experience preparing and presenting cases at hearings.
- Strong legal analysis, judgement and advisory skills.
- The ability to manage complex casework independently.
- Confidence advising and constructively challenging stakeholders.
