We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst to join their high-performing Conflicts & New Business team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an internationally recognised law firm where your expertise will directly support complex, high-value client matters across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with Partners, senior business leaders, and Conflicts Lawyers, you will play a pivotal role in protecting the firm while enabling new business growth.

As a Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting detailed conflicts checks, client due diligence and AML risk assessments to support the firm's new business acceptance process.

  • Conducting conflicts of interest searches and analysing results to identify potential legal and commercial conflicts.
  • Undertaking detailed research.
  • Preparing comprehensive conflicts reports for Partners and legal teams.
  • Carrying out client due diligence and AML verification.
  • Prepare clear, well-reasoned AML risk assessments and onboarding documentation.
  • Conducting sanctions and adverse media screening.
  • Escalating high-risk matters to senior compliance where appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate records within the firm's conflicts and compliance systems.
  • Building trusted relationships with Partners and colleagues across the business, providing guidance on compliance requirements.

Suitable candidates will have gained prior conflicts/AML/compliance experience within a US or international law firm and possess a strong understanding of conflicts and AML processes.

We are seeking candidates with knowledge of Intapp Open or similar, and excellent communication, organisation, analytical and research skills.

A law degree, legal qualification or knowledge of US conflicts rules would be advantageous but is not essential.

A highly competitive salary of up to circa £85,000 is on offer, plus a highly impressive benefits package, and 3:2 hybrid working arrangements are in place.
