Senior Conflicts Analyst
We are partnering with a leading US law firm to appoint a Senior Conflicts Analyst in London. You will support new client and matter intake through research, conflicts analysis, clearance and escalation, working with colleagues across jurisdictions. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex legal and business matters in an international environment.
About the Role
You’ll have 3–5 years’ experience in a law firm conflicts team, applying UK and US conflicts rules as part of new business intake. You’ll bring strong research and communication skills, sound judgement, discretion and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Experience with corporate research databases and working effectively across a global team is essential.

Responsibilities
- Researching new clients and relevant parties, including corporate ownership structures.
- Conducting conflicts searches and processing requests through the firm’s conflicts and new business intake platform, ensuring reports contain relevant results.
- Analysing potential conflicts under applicable UK and US rules, progressing clearances and assisting with consent and waiver drafting where appropriate.
- Communicating findings clearly to matter teams, identifying issues that require input or resolution and escalating in line with firm procedures.
- Opening, updating and closing matters, and supporting the onboarding of lateral candidates.
- Creating and adjusting ethical screens as required.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of conflicts rules, approaches across practice areas and relevant client engagement terms.
- Assisting with report generation and other departmental administration.
