Senior Conflicts Analyst | London

We are currently partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit an experienced Senior Conflicts Analyst to join their London-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a conflicts professional looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with Partners, fee earners, and senior stakeholders on complex new business intake, conflicts, and regulatory matters within a fast-paced global environment.

As a Senior Conflicts Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the firm's new business and risk management function. You will be responsible for conducting detailed conflicts and due diligence research, providing commercially focused analysis, and helping ensure compliance with professional conduct and AML requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Working closely with senior legal and compliance teams, you'll advise on conflict-related issues, escalate complex matters where appropriate, and contribute to the efficient onboarding of new clients and matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive conflicts, client due diligence, and AML research using internal and external databases.
  • Analyse conflicts results and provide clear recommendations to lawyers and business stakeholders.
  • Support the assessment and approval of new clients, matters, and fee arrangements.
  • Investigate complex ownership structures, shareholders, and beneficial ownership information.
  • Liaise with Partners, legal teams, compliance functions, and senior management to resolve conflicts issues.
  • Review matters against relevant professional conduct and regulatory obligations.
  • Assist with urgent and high-priority conflict reviews when required.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and specialist projects within the team.
  • Work closely with senior compliance and risk stakeholders on complex or sensitive matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
