Senior Conflicts Analyst
A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance function in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conflicts professional to play a key role in new business intake, conflict analysis, and matter onboarding within a fast-paced global environment.
Working closely with colleagues across the UK and US, you will conduct detailed conflicts research, assess potential ethical and commercial issues, and support lawyers and business teams throughout the client and matter intake process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive conflicts searches for new clients, matters, and business opportunities.
- Support the clearance process and assist with the preparation of conflict waivers, consents, and related documentation where required.
- Manage new matter openings, updates, and closures within the firm's intake systems.
- Assist with lateral hire conflict checks and onboarding processes.
- Escalate complex conflict issues to senior stakeholders in accordance with firm policies.
- Collaborate with lawyers, business services teams, and international colleagues to ensure efficient risk management processes.

About You
- 3+ years' experience within a law firm conflicts, new business intake, or risk & compliance team.
- Strong understanding of conflicts of interest rules and best practice within a legal environment.
- Experience analysing complex conflicts issues across multiple jurisdictions, particularly UK and US-related matters.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities, including reviewing intricate corporate structures and business relationships.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
- Experience using tools such as Orbis, PitchBook, Capital IQ, World-Check, Hoover's, or similar corporate intelligence platforms is advantageous.
