Your new company

One of the UK's leading contractors and consultants operating across multiple sectors throughout the country including Energy, Water, Rail, Highways and Defence

Your new role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Manager to join a major infrastructure project in Norfolk that will deliver a new housing access road, junction improvements, structures, active travel routes, drainage works, utility diversions and significant enhancements to the strategic road network. The scheme will play a key role in supporting future housing growth and improving connectivity across the region.

Reporting into the Project Director, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, leading construction operations from early contractor involvement and site investigations through to project delivery, handover and operational readiness. This is a high-profile role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams within a complex civil engineering environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, to the highest quality standards, on programme and within budget. During the early stages of the project, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to influence design development, ensuring solutions are practical, safe and efficient to construct. As the scheme progresses into delivery, you will lead site operations and ensure all assets and associated documentation are handed over to the required standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
