Location: UK Wide | Site-Based, Hybrid & Flexible Opportunities

Pershing Consultants is a specialist project management consultancy supporting the development and delivery of critical energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Due to continued growth across our Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our expanding team.

Working alongside leading renewable energy developers, investors, and contractors, you will play a key role in delivering utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects through construction, commissioning, and operational handover.

This is an opportunity to join a growing consultancy with an expanding pipeline of projects and the flexibility to work remotely, whilst remaining closely connected to project sites and clients across the UK.

  • Leading the construction delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects on behalf of our clients
  • Acting as the Client Representative or Owner's Engineer during construction
  • Managing EPC contractors, Principal Contractors, and multidisciplinary delivery teams
  • Taking ownership of programme, cost, quality, and construction risk throughout project delivery
  • Coordinating engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction activities to achieve project objectives
  • Managing project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications
  • Administering construction contracts, change control, and commercial matters
  • Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, health and safety requirements, and project governance standards
  • Leading commissioning, energisation, and operational handover activities
  • Building trusted relationships with developers, investors, contractors, and supply chain partners
  • Mentoring junior project professionals and contributing to the continued growth of the business

  • Renewable Energy Developers and Asset Owners
  • EPC Contractors
  • Engineering Consultancies
  • Project Management Consultancies
  • Owner's Engineer Organisations
  • Independent Power Producers (IPPs)

  • Significant experience managing the construction delivery of large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing contractor performance
  • A detailed understanding of Solar PV and/or BESS construction and commissioning
  • Excellent knowledge of construction health and safety, CDM Regulations, and construction governance
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, contracts, and programme performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
