Your New Office
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join our successful Senior Finance team in Leicester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established team of consultants, recruiting qualified and senior finance professionals into interim, temporary and contract opportunities across the East Midlands market. Working with a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to large corporate organisations, you'll play a key role in helping businesses secure critical finance talent while building long-term partnerships with senior stakeholders.
The desk offers a strong platform for growth, with access to an established client portfolio, significant market opportunity and the backing of one of Hays' most recognised specialist businesses.

What can I expect day to day?
This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your market presence and accelerate your career within a highly consultative and relationship-driven recruitment sector. You'll work alongside experienced consultants, managers and senior leaders whilst developing your own specialist market across the East Midlands.
Your focus will be on recruiting finance professionals into temporary, interim and contract appointments, supporting clients with both planned hiring projects and urgent business-critical requirements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Source, interview and match high-quality finance professionals to temporary and interim opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities across the East Midlands
- Build a network of senior finance professionals and become a trusted advisor within your market
- Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to placement and aftercare
- Provide market insight, salary benchmarking and recruitment advice to clients and candidates
- Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure successful outcomes for all parties
- Be curious and commercially focused, developing expert knowledge of the East Midlands finance market
- Take accountability for achieving targets and contributing to the growth and profitability of the business
- Be part of a vibrant and inclusive culture that celebrates personal and team success
Who Are We Looking For?
You'll be ambitious, commercially minded and motivated by building strong professional relationships. We are looking for someone who enjoys operating within a fast-paced, consultative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service. You'll ideally have:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering tailored solutions
- The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
- A strategic mindset with the confidence to identify and convert new business opportunities
- Experience developing and maintaining client relationships through business development activity, networking and client meetings

- A genuine interest in the finance market and the ability to become a recognised specialist within your sector
