Key Responsibilities
Automation & Tooling
- Write and maintain Python and shell tooling to automate provisioning, operations, monitoring, and day-to-day platform tasks.
Container Orchestration
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot workloads on a container-orchestration platform, including packaging apps and managing environment config.
CI/CD Pipelines
- Build and maintain automated build, test, and deploy pipelines; help teams ship changes safely and repeatably.
Build & Runner Infrastructure
- Support the self-hosted build/runner fleet and container image registry the pipelines rely on.
Data Services & Secrets
- Assist with database deployments, upgrades, scaling, and backups; manage credentials through a centralized secrets store (no hardcoded credentials).

Observability & Releases
- Operate monitoring and dashboards, respond to alerts, and support multi-stage data/application releases.
Cloud Provisioning
- Provision and maintain cloud compute, storage and secrets across dev, stage, and production.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years in a DevOps, infrastructure, platform, or SRE role.
- Strong Python and shell scripting for automation and tooling — a core, day-to-day part of this role.
- Hands-on experience with a major public cloud provider, container technologies, and a container-orchestration platform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Solid Git fundamentals and working knowledge of secrets management.
- Methodical troubleshooting and a documentation-friendly approach.

Nice to Have
- Exposure to Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Operating databases (relational, graph, search, or analytical) in production.
- Observability tooling, supply-chain security practices, or data-intensive / ML workloads.
- Interest in the life-sciences / biomedical domain.
