Connect to your Industry
Join our high-growth SAP+ Design & Innovation team at the forefront of how organisations harness cutting-edge AI to transform their SAP landscapes. Operating on a forward-deployed model, we work hands-on with the latest agentic AI frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, and enterprise context engineering - embedding intelligent agents directly into clients' core business processes to unlock new value, streamline complex operations, and accelerate their transformation journeys.
While our team sits within SAP consulting, we lead innovation solution design across the firm, and our work increasingly draws demand from other business lines and industries. As a senior leader in the team, you'll shape solutions that reach well beyond the SAP ecosystem, positioning you at the centre of the firm's broader AI innovation agenda. If you are an experienced technology leader with deep hands-on expertise in AI engineering - someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, shaping client relationships at senior levels, and taking intelligent solutions from prototype to production - this role offers the opportunity to define how enterprise AI is delivered, with clear progression towards Director and Partner.
Connect to your career at Deloitte

What brings us all together at Deloitte?
It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.
Connect to your opportunity
As a Senior Consultant in SAP+ Design & Innovation, you'll be at the heart of how organisations harness AI agents and intelligent automation to augment their SAP transformations - helping them move from manual, fragmented processes to streamlined, AI-powered ways of working.
This role gives you a platform to build and to learn. Working on a forward-deployed model that puts you close to the client and close to the code, you will:
- Build and deploy AI agent systems using modern agent SDKs and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK), with guidance from senior engineers.
- Implement agentic workflows involving tool use, MCP-based integrations, memory and state management, and human-in-the-loop patterns - learning what it takes to make agents enterprise-safe and production-ready.
- Contribute to enterprise context engineering: connecting agents to SAP and non-SAP systems of record, implementing knowledge retrieval and grounding approaches, and handling context across multi-step tasks.
- Integrate frontier LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini) into applications, learning best practices for guardrails, error handling, rate limiting, and cost management.
- Support evaluation and observability of agent systems - writing evals, adding tracing, and helping define the quality gates that make agent behaviour measurable.
- Develop full-stack features across Python/Node back-ends and modern TypeScript front ends (React, Next.js), including real-time agent interaction patterns.
- Participate in client workshops, demos, and showcases - building communication skills and confidence to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're looking for people who are motivated by building innovative AI solutions and who bring energy, curiosity, and a genuine appetite to learn. You don't need to tick every box - the AI landscape moves too fast for anyone to know everything. What matters most is strong engineering fundamentals and the willingness to grow rapidly alongside the technology.
You're a natural problem-solver. You care about whether things actually work, not just whether they do well, and you enjoy explaining your thinking clearly, getting feedback, and collaborating in fast-moving teams.
Essentials:
- Solid software engineering foundations - comfortable in Python and/or TypeScript, with an understanding of APIs, version control, and modern development workflows.
- Genuine, demonstrable enthusiasm for AI - through work experience, personal projects, hackathons, coursework, or self-directed experimentation with LLMs and agent frameworks.
- A fast, self-motivated learner - evidence that you pick up new technologies quickly and enjoy doing so.
- Good communication and teamwork - able to work effectively within multi-disciplinary engagement teams and with clients.
Desirables:
- Hands-on exposure to agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK) or LLM APIs.
- Experience with retrieval and grounding techniques such as RAG, vector or hybrid search.
- Full-stack development experience with React or Next.js, streaming, or WebSockets.
- Familiarity with AI-native engineering tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Exposure to SAP or other enterprise systems.
