Senior Consultant (AI)

London | Hybrid | £65,000-£75,000 + 10% Bonus

Most AI consultancies can tell clients what's possible. Very few can actually build it. We're working with a fast-growing Transformation Consultancy that's investing heavily in its AI & Data capability and is looking for an AI Senior Consultant to play a key role in delivering innovative AI solutions for clients.

This isn't a traditional consulting role.

We're looking for someone who can move comfortably between client discussions and technical delivery. Someone who enjoys understanding business challenges, shaping practical AI solutions, and then helping build, test and demonstrate them to create real value. You'll join a small but ambitious team with significant backing, genuine autonomy and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives while helping a growing AI practice continue to scale.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting AI and data engagements from discovery through to delivery
  • Working with client stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven business improvement
  • Designing and developing MVPs, proofs of concept and AI-powered solutions that demonstrate tangible value
  • Creating rapid prototypes using modern AI tooling, cloud platforms and engineering best practices
  • Helping clients explore, evaluate and implement GenAI, agentic AI and machine learning solutions
  • Collaborating closely with engineers, architects and data specialists to develop production-ready solutions
  • Contributing to workshops, client presentations and solution design activities
  • Supporting business development efforts through proposal input, demonstrations and thought leadership
  • Mentoring junior consultants and sharing knowledge across the wider team
  • Contributing ideas to the continued development of the AI & Data capability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for

  • Experience within consulting, advisory or client-facing technology environments
  • Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, LLMs and emerging AI ecosystems
  • Hands-on experience building solutions, applications or products rather than simply consuming AI tools

  • Understanding of modern engineering practices including APIs, containers, CI/CD and software delivery pipelines
  • Appreciation of solution architecture principles and how AI, data and application components work together
  • Ability to engage confidently with client stakeholders and communicate technical concepts in a clear, business-focused way
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and emerging technologies
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for applying AI to solve real business problems

  • Take satisfaction from solving complex problems and delivering measurable outcomes
  • Thrive in entrepreneurial environments where you can make a visible impact
